Cherryl Graham, CPA, Controller
Cherryl managed the accounting function of five emerging companies and has worked exclusively with high-tech & e-commerce start-ups over the last four years, bridging the gap between founder, VC and external auditor.
Her background includes Due Diligence, cash management, Mergers & Acquisitions, e-business metrics, international operations & consolidations, and projections for business plans. At SageMaker, Inc., a company funded by GE Equity, Conning, and Internet Capital Group, Mrs. Graham headed the combined accounting, legal and human resources department. Her responsibilities included installing an accounting program, internal control, corporate policy, managing high growth, funding, mergers and acquisitions.
Since then she has worked with other software development/IT companies assisting with system installations, funding and strategic planning, including the launch of the portal i-engineering.com and their related e-commerce platform; the i-Net Engine. Prior to her involvement in start-ups Mrs. Graham spent over ten years in both Public Accounting and private industry. Mrs. Graham started her career with General Electric in London, and came to the United States when she married.
Mrs. Graham graduated Magna cum Laude in Accounting from Lynchburg College and passed her CPA exam the same year. She is currently licensed in Virginia.
